I will be hosting the Bardwell Valley Golf Club recruitment day on Saturday 31st May from 100pm to 500pm

This event is for ladies who are interested in joining a golf club, but are unsure of where to start this process.

The afternoon will commence with groups of 3 new lady golfers being taken out onto the course by a more experienced lady golfer (and past Get into Golf students) to play a 9-hole Ambrose fun golf event.

After you have finished your round of golf, there will be drinks and catering in the clubhouse, during which time the Women’s Club President and myself with give you information relating to joining the club.

This event is the perfect way to try out the course and get all the facts on prices, competition times, social times and club events.

Cost of this event is $35 which includes, golf, a drink and catering.

On Saturday 3rd of May, 2025, I will be hosting a beginner women’s club fitting event at Power Golf O’Riordan Street Alexandria.

During the event, while enjoying a glass of bubbles, you will be shown what is currently available in beginner women’s golf packages.

You will be able to have a hit of the clubs in the hitting bays with the Power Golf fitting staff.

All products will be available to purchase on the night.

Cost of this event is $25 which will be given to you in the form of a gift card. This can be deducted from any purchases made at Power Golf.

BEGINNER WOMEN GOLFERS RECRUITMENT DAY

Ladies,

Are you new to golf, had some lessons or completed the Get into Golf program and now wish to join a club? This next step is daunting and confusing for the beginner golfer.

I can assist you with your next step.

Recruitment days are days that showcase a golf club, allow you to play a few holes with current lady members, gather together in the club afterward for a drink and some nibbles, hear about what the club has to offer with regards to women’s competitions, membership fees, social games, social events.

This half day clinic will be held at the practice facility at St. Michaels Golf Club 3pm to 7pm

During the afternoon you will have 3 lessons with 3 golf instructors covering the following subjects

• bunkers

• green reading and putting

• Practice with Purpose - drills and routines

You will also enjoy a glass of wine in the club house afterwards while we draw the raffle prizes

This half day clinic will be held at the practice facility at Eastlake Golf Club on Sunday 8th October.

During the afternoon you will have 3 lessons with 3 golf instructors covering the following subjects

• Hitting big driver shots

• Pitching and chipping distance control

• Bunkers

You will also enjoy a fruit platter and mineral water for afternoon tea and meat and cheese platters with a glass or two of wine to finish.

Cost of this clinic is $170

During the afternoon you will have 3 lessons with 3 golf instructors covering the following subjects

• Hitting your irons straight

• Getting out of trouble

The third half day training clinic will take place on Sunday 16th April at Eastlake Golf Club practice facility.

This clinic will again consist of 3 different lessons from 3 instructors, fairway woods, hybrid clubs and practice with purpose routines.

Afternoon tea of fruit and mineral water followed by a glass or two of wine and cheese and meat platters are included in this event.

This Level 2 Half Day training clinic will be held at the practice facility at Eastlake Golf Club.

Each clinic will consist of 3 lessons from 3 instructors, Level 2 will focus on the driver, bunkers and pitching and chipping distance control.

Between lessons 1 and 2 you will enjoy fruit platters and mineral water then after the 3rd lesson we will all get together to share a glass of wine and cheese platters

Our first half day training clinic for 2023 will be held on Sunday 5th February at Eastlake Golf Club practice facility.

During this clinic you will have 3 lessons from 3 different instructors focussing on irons, putting and getting out of trouble.

These clinics are designed for ladies who have completed their Get into Golf program and had a little experience playing golf. We will not take you to the next level in your golf game.

During the second half of 2022, I will be running a series of Half Day Training Clinics at Eastlake Golf Club with the assistance of 2 PGA Teaching Professionals.

Clinics are held on Tuesdays 815am or Sundays 12.15pm. Each clinic consists of 3 lessons , morning or afternoon tea, lunch or wine and cheese. cost is $150 per clinic

There are 3 Levels (level number is not an indication of your skill level and can be completed in any order)

Level 1 - Irons, getting out of trouble and putting

Level 2 - Driver, Pitch and Chip distance control, Bunkers

This 2.5 hour on course lesson with be with John Burrough PGA Teaching Professional and myself. You will play 2.5 hours of supervised golf at Botany Golf course while working on your technique and course management skills

This half day teaching clinic will be jointly run by myself, John Burrough and James Edge.  Both John and James are experienced PGA Teaching professionals based at Eastlake Golf Club.

Our clinic will consists of 3 x 45 minutes lessons in small groups, you will rotate between the 3 instructors over the morning focussing on long game, short game and putting.   

In between clinic 1 and 2 we will break for Capaccinos made to order by the Two Fives Coffee van and a selection of pastries and cakes from Queen of Tarts. 

After clinic 3 a casual lunch of sandwiches and fruit platters will be provided during which we will have a Q & A session with the Pro’s

The clinic will from 830am to 1.00pm.

KOGARAH IS 5 MINUTES PAST THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ON THE BANKS OF THE COOKS RIVER. THE COURSE IS FLAT WITH A FEW WATER HAZARDS.
